A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 31 July, 1276 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 13:27 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 1% of the Moon's disc for 29 minutes and 30 seconds, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 29 minutes and 30 seconds. Maximum eclipse was at 13:27:15 UT.
