The cockpit, looking aft The cockpit footwell is in the lower left; it's larger than it looks, because the aft half is filled by a locker, containing the main propane cylinder for the stove. (You can see the outline of the footwell continuing around the lid.) On the lower-right, the steel cylinder is the top for the diesel fill pipe. Above it is the mainsheet winch, and above it is the lid of the aft deck locker. The tiller comes right across the cockpit; you can see where it's set into the top of the rudder, which is mounted externally on the stern. The gray cover is for the folded-up bimini, a sun roof that comes over the whole cockpit.
