A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 30 July, 0394 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 09:41 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 10% of the Moon's disc for 1 hour and 24 minutes, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 1 hour and 24 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 09:41:40 UT.
