A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 18 August, 1891 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 23:51 UT. This very subtle penumbral eclipse was essentially invisible to the naked eye; though it lasted 2 hours and 29 minutes, just 27% of the Moon's disc was in partial shadow (with no part of it in complete shadow).

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 2 hours and 29 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 23:51:54 UT.
