A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 20 June, 0271 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 23:45 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 16% of the Moon's disc for 1 hour and 44 minutes, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 1 hour and 44 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 23:45:00 UT.
