A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 10 May, 0278 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 21:54 UT. This very subtle penumbral eclipse was essentially invisible to the naked eye; though it lasted 3 hours and 17 minutes, just 50% of the Moon's disc was in partial shadow (with no part of it in complete shadow).

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 3 hours and 17 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 21:54:19 UT.
