A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 5 August, 0571 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 20:46 UT. This very subtle penumbral eclipse was essentially invisible to the naked eye; though it lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes, just 38% of the Moon's disc was in partial shadow (with no part of it in complete shadow).

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 2 hours and 40 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 20:46:29 UT.
