A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 17 February, 0683 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 21:07 UT. This very subtle penumbral eclipse was essentially invisible to the naked eye; though it lasted 3 hours and 12 minutes, just 45% of the Moon's disc was in partial shadow (with no part of it in complete shadow).

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 3 hours and 12 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 21:07:50 UT.
