A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 30 December, 1024 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 05:53 UT. This very subtle penumbral eclipse was essentially invisible to the naked eye; though it lasted 3 hours and 8 minutes, just 40% of the Moon's disc was in partial shadow (with no part of it in complete shadow).
The penumbral eclipse lasted for 3 hours and 8 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 05:53:02 UT.
