A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 14 June, 1638 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 18:14 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 18% of the Moon's disc for 2 hours and 10 minutes, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 2 hours and 10 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 18:14:04 UT.
