A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 19 November, 0521 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 12:16 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 12% of the Moon's disc for 1 hour and 46 minutes, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 1 hour and 46 minutes. Maximum eclipse was at 12:16:15 UT.
