A penumbral eclipse of the Moon occurred on 18 October, 0575 BC UT Old Style, with maximum eclipse at 11:22 UT. In this extremely marginal eclipse, the Moon barely clipped the edge of the Earth's penumbral shadow. This caused a microscopic darkening of just 17% of the Moon's disc for 2 hours exactly, which was essentially impossible to see.

The penumbral eclipse lasted for 2 hours exactly. Maximum eclipse was at 11:22:22 UT.
